Import DWG without moving and rotating to RVT with coordinates?

Still having problems with the basics of importing / referencing / coordinates ...

I tried with a simple example:

- I have a DWG, with a rectangle, rotated 33°, left lower coordinates 20/30, 100 x 15 meters. This is the outline of my "house".

- In Revit, I draw a rectangle from approx. 0,0, 100 x 15 meters, no rotation. This is the Revit-outline.

- Then I used the "Shared reference Point" tools: exported the data from Civil, imported it to Revit.

- Now I check my rectangle in Revit - perfect: left lower coordinates at 20/30, rotated 33°, right upper coordinates haves the same values as the DWG in Civil

So far, so good.

But ...

How to import (or reference) the DWG to RVT? I thought that now both files have the same "system" and the imported DWG is exactly on the same position as RVT - but I tried all comands and settings for import (reference), but either

- the direction (orientation) of DWG is correct, but the position is wrong or

- both direction and position of DWG is wrong.

Should it be possible to import it without modifications?

Or is it unavoidable?

Thanks and regards

I am not familiar with that workflow.  Normally, you just start a new Revit project, link (or import) the DWG civil site plan and acquire Shared Coordinates from it.

"I am not familiar with that workflow"

These tools are made by Autodesk and can be download from App-Store(???), but at the end the result should be the same.

But also with your workflow - can you import a second or third (already orientated) DWG without any modifications?

Once I acquired the shared coordinates of the 1st DWG link in Revit, linking 2nd or 3rd DWG in should need no further adjustments, if they share the same coordinates with the 1st one.
