Import CAD to Revit with CTB file

Hello all,

I need to import CAD to Revit with a user specified CTB file. The 'CTB link' (https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/HelpDoc?appId=8661531945366109491&appLang=en&os=Win64#contac...) appears to be what I want but it says it is compatible with 2018 at the latest, I am using 2022. Is there a way of achieving the CTB import without the add in?

Backstory: We have received CAD details from consultants with lots of colour on them. We need the imported CAD to read similar to our plot/line styles. Simply using grayscale is unacceptable due to line weights and membranes needing to be shown colour.

Any advice/ideas greatly appreciated.

Did you try it and didnt work at all?

If that fails...download Revit 2018 you still have the chance. Import there and upgrade file
