IMAGES ARE LINKED TO EACH NEW MATERIAL

Hi all

should be an easy one, I have created a new material brick using an image, then I duplicate the material and start another material and add a new image - only thing is that it then resets the previous material I created with the new image - so my BRICK PGH 1, 2 , AND 3 - will all end up the same image - i.e. the last image I put in

obviously there is some link system I cant find

thanks

You need to rename the asset to create a brand new one. Check the little hand icon in the upper left. Should read 0 (e.g. zero) next to it.

sorry its takes a while to get back to the forum - I worked this out with your replies, just had to get he order correct after taking that on.

Duplicate the material at the bottom then set up the new name and then duplicate the asset at the top right - then you can see the sharing number change - gives it a different number?? and then they are separated.
