Hi,
i have an ifc exported from Revit 2017. This file (ifc file) has the correct position, rooms as ifcSpaces, and the objects in the correct position.
Now, i'm trying to use this ifc file as link in Revit 2018. I don't know why in the ifc linked the rooms aren't visible, the position of the file is moved and some objects are moved from their original position (some ceiling elements).
If i try to import the ifc file directly in a revit template, the position of the building is moved, the rooms are in the file but all moved in the base point of the project, and the ceiling elements are in the correct position.
How can i control the comportment of Revit reading an ifc that is generated from revit.
Thanks in advance!
Catia
Try unchecking "Use 2D Room Boundaries for Room Volume" when exporting.
...Can you post a screenshot of your original export settings?
Hi,
here attached some images of my export options.
In Navisworks i can correctly assembly the ifc models, i read the ifcSpaces, and my ceiling elements are in correct position.
Thanks in advance
Catia
