I'm experimenting with IFC files and noticed a strange issue in Revit when linking IFC files. If the name of the IFC contains a number it doesn't display. However if i remove the number and try linking the IFC again it does display..
I'm using Revit 2019 version 19.1.0.112, anyone else noticed this?
Is this true for any IFC file? Can you create a wall, export it as "test1.ifc" and try linking it back in? Does this fail unless you rename it to "test.ifc"? If so, we will take a look to see why this would be, although I'm surprised this hasn't shown up before if it is that generic.

Angel

We tested some things, it seems the .rvt file, that is created while linking, is getting corrupt sometimes it happend two times. In one time the linked .rvt gets randomly corrupted and the second time it gets corrupted if the IFC is changed and reloaded into the revit model.
if the log, .rvt and sharedparameters are removed it is fixed. However after sometime the file gets corrupted again.
If you send us the files, we can investigate the corruption.
