Hey guys,
I have a BIM-model what´s created in Allplan. Now I should work further on in Revit. We made an IFC-Export from Allplan to Revit, afterwards the model was visible in Revit.
The problem is, that most of the attributes which were created by our own in Allplan are not existing in Revit. Wether in type properties nor in instance properties. If I take Tekla BIMSight, I can see the model and the created attributes, so the attributes were exported from allplan, but are not existing in Revit?! Do you have any ideas? I am puzzled.
Thanks.
Greetings
Laura
Hi @Anonymous
There might be some issues opening IFC files created by AllPlan.
Could you please post this IFC or send it to me by Private Message?

Hello,
I have a similar problem with the attributes. The IFC file from my client, when imported in Revit, is giving different attributes. For example, all the Slabs and Stairs has been changed to Generic models. My thinking is that exporting the element properties from AllPlan software should be proper.
My suggestion to @Anonymous
1- Please check the properties you have assigned to the elements in AllPlan software.
2- Please check the "importIFCClassMapping.txt" file in Revit.
3- Please check the following report (you can access the PDF from Google)
"ModelExchangeBetweenRevitAndAllplanUsingIFC"
