Hi there.
When exporting volumetric flow rate measures from Revit to *.ifc the units and values of the exported values are inconsistent. The numerical value Revit exports is given in cubic foot per second even though the volume unit of the project is given in cubic metre. This results in the IFC-readers to display the numerical value as cubic metre per second even though the it's actual value is in cubic foot per second.
The project units in my project now is litre/min, but open the file in ifc reader i.e. Solibri or Bimsync, other numeric valueas and/or other units are displayed.
Are there any chance of deciding the units ourselves, or at least not export to ifc in imperial units?
When defining a parameter (Manage → Settings → Project Parameter), one can define the dicipline and type of a parameter; this will influence the unit.
Eg. for flow there exists three possibilities:
Hvac, Air flow: m3/h
Piping, flow: l/s
Common, number: ft3/s
When exporting to IFC, this will export to m3/s if IfcVolumetricFlowRateMeasure is choosen.
