IFC EXPORT PROBLEM

Hi,

 

When i try and export an IFC from Revit 2017, nothing happens at all, so i have the 3D Window open. I click > Export > IFC > Choose my settings and location> Then click export. Then i get nothing, nothing at all happens. Can someone help, what am i doing wrong?

Can you confirm if you have the latest updates for Revit 2017?

  • I would suggest checking the Desktop App to see if there are any Revit updates available. For information on using the Desktop App see the following article: About the Autodesk Desktop App
  • Make sure to have the latest version of the IFC exporter installed as it has improved performance with these objects. 
  • See HERE for workarounds for IFC export
