I need to export a file so that it can be opened in a previous version of Revit. I was told that exporting it as an IFC is my best option. However, I cannot use this option under the export tab, IFC is not illuminated or clickable. After downloading an IFC export app in the Autodesk store, it still won't let me select this option. Any suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous,
May I ask if you open the file before you export it to IFC? See the image below for reference.
If you still cannot select IFC from the Export even though it is already open when tried to export, would it be possible to share the model for us to test in our side?
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
