IFC Export Issue on Different Machines – Revit 2022

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering a rather unusual issue while exporting an IFC file in Revit 2022.
On one of our computers, the export completes flawlessly without any errors. However, when attempting the exact same export on other machines (even those with superior hardware) Revit behaves inconsistently: it occasionally crashes without any error message, and at other times, it displays an alert indicating that the file is too long to export.
We’ve reached out to Autodesk, but unfortunately, they no longer provide support for Revit 2022.
Has anyone experienced something similar or has any insight into what might be causing this issue?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the issue might be. Assuming that it is not a hardware issue you might look at a few things.

-Close other software during IFC export (test if disabling virusscanner helps).

-Is the IFC add in (see HERE) installed? Try to install or de-install to see if that is the issue.

-Install latest updates fro Revit 2022.

-It might be other related software. Try to update the .NET libraries (I think it is 4.8 for Revit 2022).

-Remove (Clean Uninstall) Revit 2022 and reinstall.
