IFC export: empty file

Hi everyone,

I have built a Revit model and prepare to export the model to IFC format. I used the "export" function but I obtained an empty IFC file. I have tried different kinds of settings and checked the possible solutions in the forum, but I still cannot address the problem.

My Revit version: 2018, and IFC 2018 available on the computer as well.

The problem has been solved according to https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles....

The error comes from the change of the language of the interface.

Hi, 

I have the same issue, BUT I do not have an IFC Option under my Export->Options. What do I do?

I've been using it on a large project and it seems to export every 2nd 3D view that I try to export. Then if another user tries to export same views they get the same issue but with different views. I've attached an image where I exported all views one after another and half of them came up empty and the other half normal. I am working in 2025 but also had this issue in 2023 and I cannot figure out what gives. The export is the same on all, so is the view template. I have tried rebooting and restarting.

Anybody else had this issue?
