Identical Instance that do not appear in schedules

Hello everyone,

I have an issue with identical instances when creating "model groups." When I add a piece of furniture to the project, the schedule reads a count of one (1). And when I group this piece of furniture into a model group, the schedule still reads a count of one (1).

However when I try to delete this family from the project via the project browser, I am given a warning that says two (2) instance will be deleted. Also when I export the file as a dwfx, there is also a count of two (2).

What is going on here?

Thanks,

Jo

Don't delete a shared family. Filter it out of schedule.

...what's going on is that the family you are deleting is in use.  It's a component in the Host.

There is always one instance in the group definition even the group is not placed in the model but still in the browser. That's why you have two.
