I want one wall, I see two

Hi,

When I create a wall, why does this wall appear split automatically? After a certain length, the wall is considered a single element but this appears divided into 2 with a small empty space between them. I think this should be for a kind of structural joint but, what should I do if I do not need that?

Thanks for your help

Marco

Share a screenshot. Don't know what you're looking at, possibly a curtain wall... hard to tell.

What you see is generated automatically, although Revit sees it as just one wallCattura.PNG

Could be caused by intersecting (hidden) geometry, maybe check reveal hidden elements (also check 3d)...

I checked and there is no hidden geometry.

It could also be intersecting geometry set in a different phase.

There is a wall there in a different phase.

You're spot on, Phasing is often the last thing people check when things are not working like they should or have visibility issues.

Set the phase filter to none and see if there is object hidden there.

As well click on reveal all to reveal object hidden by element

Like I said, intersecting geometry in a different phase. It is caused by join behavior over different phases.
