This should be the simplest thing in the world. eg: existing color = grey. I have been jumping through hoops trying to find answers for hours now. You can't do it with filters cause that would be too easy. Changing the Phase filtering does nothing.
And I can modify the linked file but then I would have to do the same thing every time our consultants change a drawing. Yes asking them is an option but why. It should be so simple

Then map its phases with your phases correctly, i.e. Existing > Existing, Phase 1 > Phase 1, and so on.

Because your Phase Graphic Overrides defines Previous phases to be shown as Halftone or Grey.
