Hi, @Anonymous, what are you exactly looking for? Make window over mass? Cut wall with mass to place window??? Please, be more specific in order to help you.

It is not clear what you are trying to do...

  • What is the mass for? Did you mean a Void?
  • Do you want to cut an opening in the wall with it? if so use either of the following
    1. Model an in-place generic model void component
    2. On the Ribbon >> Architecture Tab >> Opening >> Wall
    3. Create a loadable face or wall based loadable family (void) to cut the wall with
    4. Edit the wall's Profile (Select wall >> from the ribbon "Edit Profile" then sketch the opening

  • You have a window in the wall already, are you trying to demolish it and make and opening? if so,
    1. On the Modify tab use the demolish then either hide or assign and invisible material for the infill
    2. If you do not need the window the first place and it never existed, delete it and simply create an opening as per the above 4 methods

If none of the above, feel free to elaborate and/or attach the rvt file for a closer look at what you are trying to do

Use Wall by face tool to create walls from your Mass form, then you can place windows to cut opening in the walls.

If this is not what you mean then type your questions in your native language, google translate it to English, and post the translation here.

I think there may be a language problem here. If you are using an English version of Revit, please try to use the same terms as in the program.

This is what I understand from what you have written and shown in the image:

hi guys .ı make mass in revit but  ı need window space . but ı couldn't not

1. "i make mass" The selected blue area is a Revit "In place Mass" you made;

2. "i need window space" you need the surface area of the blue area;

3. "but i couldn't not" the Revit "In place mass" does not have an area parameter or length/width parameters for calculating.

Here's my version and solution:

lucdoucet_msdl_2-1631640812920.png

1. Edit the Inplace Mass and set the type to Revit Category to Window;

2. Add two dimensions to get the width and height;

3. Assign each dimension to the width and height parameters of the Window category Inplace Mass (shown here as Largeur = Width and Hauteur = Height in French version of Revit);

4. Create a window schedule with a calculated parameter with Width*Height as an Area Type.

In the window schedule below:

lucdoucet_msdl_1-1631640753266.png

The Inplace mass is called "Fenetres 1" with a height value of 1350mm, a width value of 1688mm and a calculated area value of ±2m².

Hope this helps,
