I have selected show coarse in plan veiw but it's still showing in fine detail, can you help?

Hello Revit users,

I have a plan view for my kitchen remodel but my bar still is showing super detailed as well as my stove/range, I have selected coarse in Visibility Graphics in the Family editor but it's now working, can you help?

Thank you sooo much!

Turn the elements off for Coarse in the family. And check your view VGO see if the category detail level is overridden to Fine instead of per View.

If that doesn't work, can you share the family of the chair?

By the way, the picture shows a pretty generic looking stool.  I bet you can find some ready made on BIMobject with better graphic quality. An example family is attached.

Your stuck with that plan view display if you want to use family as is.  You could trace a masking region over it though.

like this. See attached family.

BTW: Read this. I think it might help you. Pay attention to the info about Draw in Foreground.
