hello i have problem with installing Revit 2023 software first I installed Revit 2023 but the installation never finishes its stuck at 97% for days, nevertheless I have started the software, at the start of software I found this problem "The path you have specified for the default
family template files is invalid" I tried to fix following the suggestion from Autodesk community, I couldn't fix, but I still could use the software so while I'm using the software I couldn't find important templates for component and furniture's and when I try to load family templates the templates I wanted like us imperial and us metric is not under the library there is other countries most of them Europe countries, some some suggestions said to uninstall the software and before the uninstallation click reinstall so I uninstalled but I could never found the reinstall the software, the software is uninstalled but still I can see Revit 2023 in the desktop and when I try to run it says "missing schema folder repair your installation or contact Autodesk support" and if I try to install Revit 2023 again it says "Autodesk Revit 2023 is already installed" I really need help with this software it's driving me crazy, I even try to download Revit 2022 and I have the same problem as Revit 2023 the installation never ends in days, and it says at the start of the Revit 2022 "The path you have specified for the default family template files is invalid" the software is working I can draw walls, doors, etc. but still I can't find us templates and I can't add components. pls Help with all these problems and if I have to delete Revit and start install again pls let me know a way to uninstall and delete and not having software stuck in the desktop when I uninstalled.

Hi i need help with Revit installation &uninstallation I had a lot of problems with Revit and I try to uninstall Revit 2023 and also more than 1 day of Revit 2023 not finishing installing and being stuck in 97% I cancelled, so both Revit 2023 and Revit 2022 are still in my desktop and if I try to open it won't open, Revit 2023 says " missing schema Folder: C:/programfiles/Common Files/Autodesk Shared/Revit Schemas 2023. "Repair your installation contact Autodesk Support." if I try to open Revit 2022 its saying "schemas Revit are incomplete. Repair Your installation or contact Autodesk Support" and if i try to install Revit 2023 or Revit 2022 it will says its already installed. so what should I do now? pls help I'm having these problems.

If you mean you are missing the oob families, try to download this

or use the online catalog:

For the installation, try to download the files again via fast internet. Remove all Adesk folders and entries after de-installing in Programs/Features. then try again with newly downloaded files. Install from a local drive (not network). I assume your hardware is OK (powerful, brand name parts, good PSU etc.) and you have W10 or W11 and all is updated and proper.

Revit Version: R2026.2
Hardware: i9 14900K, 64GB, Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada 16GB
Add-ins: ElumTools; Ripple-HVAC; ElectroBIM; Qbitec

if may I ask you a question "Removing all Adesk folders" do you mean I should delete all Autodesk software files or only Revit folders. cause I have other Autodesk software's working fine.
Thank you.

I don't think I ever had the problem, but I would remove all 2023 folders and everything else that looks like 2023 AFTER you did a normal de-install of all 2023 programs (control Panel). Like here:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk

I don't know if this will help, or if you can find more locations. But that is what I would try. Ideally the de-installation routine would remove all that, but this isn't necessarily the case for most software.

Keeping the older Revit versions certainly makes manual removal harder. But technically this should work.

And you have a modern OS, like W10 and updated and sufficient hardware? I assume so, but you never know.
