I have 12 lights in this small room and none of them are rendering. Why?

The bookcase has 3 nested lights in it, two of which are undercabinet lights which I've cranked up the intensity on. All the other lights are stock. I'm at my wit's end. Thanks for your help! Project attached.

Hi @winstonfoxnelson

You've saved your project in an earlier version of Revit, probably 2018 so cannot saw it. Il also depends which settings are used in the render dialog (clouds?) and also to be sure the light-source is not inside a geometry.

Yeah it's 2018, sorry about that.

I have a wide variety of lights including floor lamps, ceiling lights, and
wall lights. The render setting are such that it's interior artificial
only, all the lights are on and the dimming setting is set to 1 (no
dimming). I've tried turning the light exposure all the way up, shadows all
the way down, etc. The render shows totally black.

..... hi

.... what you need to do is to tweak these settings

... and lower the intensity of the cabinet lights

What the heck? This is driving me crazy. I have just done another rendering using the same settings you had, and adjusted to the exact same number you have, clicked "apply", and it's still black. Could it be that there's some other setting within Revit that is incorrect on my end?

... let's try this:

... go to your plan view

... create a new 3dview and try to render it with the settings I just said before

....let me know....

.... or maybe try moving forward your camera...

Make sure your camera is not burried inside a wall.

Somehow, the camera was in the wall, even though in the 3D view it didn't appear to be so. How bizarre! Anyway thanks for your help.

@winstonfoxnelson

Another thing: You need to Share your Light Fixtures that are nested inside your Bookcase Family. If you notice, they aren't even showing up in your Artificial Lights Dialog Box.  But, once shared, they all seem to Render well. I tested one by one.

.... but your camera wasn't inside of the wall
