Hello
I'm working in REVIT 2022 full and have a template set up for fine detail while I'm drafting my views.
My floor and wall types are showing up perfectly with the makeup of the element, however my roofs are showing as a solid black fill.
I have check that there's no overrides in the template and that roofs are set to 'fine' but I don't seem to be able to get to the bottom of the issue. Any ideas?
Excuse the junky model - It's a work in progress
Can you check in the filter to see if there is filter set roof to cut set to solid black.
That's what I thought but its set to 'fine' and I've got no pattern set when it is course
Also check if the roof is set in the correct phase or you can set the phase to show complete instead of show all.
Check @barthbradley suggestion. If nothing works, please upload the sample so we can analysis the issue.
Well that's frustrating - If I copy a little of the model to another file it SHOWS so I must have something set incorrectly in the project. I've deleted out most of the project but the view I'm referring to is Section AA

Do this test. Copy and paste aligned in place the section line, open the new section view and tell us if you still see the roof section poche.
When I look at the view, seems like it has solid fill applied and set to course. I removed it and it works. I double click to access the view and then use VV shortcut to make it show.
Ok totally confused - I cant see one in my model at all in exactly the same view........ I'm sure this is horribly simple and my inexperience is complicating the issue. Sorry.
Did you double click into the view? Sheet also has it's own visibility and graphics but that won't fix the problem. So you select the view and right click to activate view. You should see the titleblock being greyed out. Then do VV shortcut and you should be seeing the setting where roof is has solid black cut and set to course.

Yep - I can see it in a brand new project - just not in the master model. I uploaded a small piece above
I am not talking about copy paste it to a new project. Copy paste the section within your own project and tell us how the new section looks?
