the 3d cad file looks like a sign or logo of some sort.  If you are trying to make a Revit family based upon that cad file, start a new generic model revit family and go to the default 3d view, then insert the cad file.  once inserted, modify it to use revit content or leave as it.  Save it as a Revit family somewhere and then load it into your project to use.

Try to convert your mesh to a solid or surface in Autocad before importing it in Revit.

You also could just (re)model it in a Revit family

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

you can import the 3d cad file into your project directly if you want...just ensure the current view is the default 3d view

yes, i had to do so, as i still cant insert the logo directly to the file project. i believe that there is a problem in the cad file

I opened your cad file...it is a mesh.  I exploded it to turn them into 3d surfaces.  I imported them into a revit family (generic model).  now you can load them into your project..

see attachments.
