I can't scale annotations and callouts

I'm plotting the views in a sheet and tried to change the scale from 1:100 to 1:500. The drawings and models followed the scale but the texts and callouts stayed the same. How can I resolve this issue?

Annotation size is supposed to be constant on sheet, meaning text in a 1:100 view and text in a 1:500 view are the same size when you place the two views on a sheet.

Oww I deeply appreciate your response. Thank you for that info. But is there a way that I can quickly rescale the texts without having to edit them one by one manually? :(( it takes forever to edit each

Make a new text type, select all of the text on the view, and change them to their new type. It should be a pretty quick process.

You know, there is a point of diminishing return - especially if you are actually plotting, as in printing to wide-format printer.  Text annos that are less than 1/16th inch will most likely be unreadable. Just be blobs of ink on paper.   Maybe a better solution would to break up and print contents of the view to several sheets.   Not scale to fit one sheet.

Out of curiosity, have you turned Thin Lines OFF and looked at the 1:500 results?  Anno size may be only half the issue. Line thickness too.

What is this 1:500 view? An overall site plan? Then it shouldn't show the same level of details and annotations as a 1:100 floor plan. You ought to turn off a lot of stuff for such small scale site plan.

If it is a reduced scale floor plan so that you can fit it in a certain sheet dimension, then use 1:100 view on larger sheet, and print it at 20%.
