We have .PDF files on our server we want hyperlink into our Revit Template. These files are our BIM Standards Manual and Office Standard Details. Is there a way to create a hyperlink to these files from Revit? This way my coworkers can click the hyperlink and it will open the PDF file as these files will be updated at least monthly. Just curious.

In most of the family types, you can have a "Type" parameter of URL. On our start sheet in all of our revit models, we use this in a generic family that contains many URL specified parameters. Some go to BIM360, Vendor web pages, and even within our own internal network.
Make sure is an INstance parameter, so they just click on the family, then the link they want to follow.

This works for families but I do not need that. I have PDF files on our server that I would like to have access to by creating a hyperlink (or something else). Once the link is selected, the PDF file will open. Just trying to find a way to have my coworkers have access without them coming to me and asking where the standards manual is located.
