I have HP Omen 15- AX033DX, Product Number W2N32UA#ABA
Product Description:
Okay, I bought that laptop last November 2016, at that time I did not know about AutoDesk Subscription. I learned that amazing feature which allowed me to test at least four AutoDesk products, eventually subscribing to AutoDesk Revit LT Suite now. I have 2018 Revit LT and AutoCAD LT! Good start for me! Sometimes, I can subscribe to AutoCAD Architecture 2018 or Revit 2018, depending on project requirement for my home business.
I am DISAPPOINTED with this HP Omen 15 laptop because it has two hard drives, only tiny 118 GB in Drive C and large 917 GB in Drive D. I am actually running AutoCAD Architecture 2017 trial on Drive D!!! So, I spent too many hours and days moving around files as well as deleting to make room for Drive C due to continuous Windows Updates. I had to contact Microsoft Support to deal with Window Update issues; the major reason was not enough space for Windows Update.
TOO MUCH HEADACHE!!!
Now please tell me what I should look for to buy replacement device? I do hope I will have a good deal in the exchange with Best Buy.

You need not buy a new laptop. Just buy a 512GB or 1TB SSD to replace the existing 128GB one. While you are at it, upgrade to 16GB of RAM as well.
I agree about upgrading to 16 GB of RAM, but I did stop by at Best Buy and informed me that I couldn't update the RAM. Geez...
About buying 512GB or 1TB SSD to replace the existing 128GB is acceptable. I will explore that.
Thanks
It looks like Best Buy were either telling us the truth or... Crucial is wrong... take a look at the screenshot
What about 16 GB stick? Plug into a USB slot???
Maybe both Best Buy and Crucial are wrong.
I would try this one if your CPU is 7th generation i7.
And this one if your CPU is 6th generation i7.
I would buy it from somewhere I could return if it wouldn't work.

Team, I'm also having an issue with my Omen it appears not compatible with CAD software like Revit and another 2D package I'm running. Menu folders overlap. I cannot see the line as it is drawn or the dimension. ( However, it will snap and insert) .
Cannot create an object selection box (i.e. like dimension cannot see the drawn size of the selection box)
Has anyone experienced similar issues as I have changed the diplay settings, turned off the Revit accelerator check box? However, the latter to date appears to have resolved the crashing of the video card.
