I was on a BIM Coordination call recently, and one of the consultants mentioned that they had a "How We BIM" document that they would send out to another consultant. I think it was Lighting to MEP.
In discussion of challenges we have coordinating with different disciplines, I mentioned this document , and my boss said, "sounds great, write one". Unfortunately, I don't remember which BIM Coordination call that was to get sample, so I'm stuck writing one from scratch.
Does anyone have such a document, or have suggestions of what to include.
I've started with things that are common in BIM plans and things that cause us coordination issues with different disciplines. We are in Foodservice.

"How we BIM"? Just from the sound of it and without knowing what they stacked inside, I would say using such terminology is so not BIM like practice...But if you say its something which your boss is interested in, you are unable to locate/identify that consultant you were meeting with to send it to you too, you can search online for documents like EIR, BEP, BDP...lots of major companies have theirs published on line or samples of it at least...I know Deutsche Bahn has loads of these on their website but that would be in german and maybe of no use for you.
Choosing the right keyword will help you find what you are looking for...How We BIM will not lead you to very promising results
