how to straighten the angled truss

Hi,

I have created some trusses along the grid line 9, angled in section to fit for the sloped roof. however, they are showing angled in plan as well.

How can I straighten them following the grid line?

And one more thing, I am using revit 2017 and tried to upload an OWSJ file made 2012 from autocadseek. It goes through the conversion process, but can't upload into the revit. I tried other files, but all of them are un-loadable. what is the problem?

Not sure how you managed to rotate it in plan. Normally, if you go to an elevation or section view, rotate the truss, or change the truss's Start/End Level offset, it should not rotate in plan. Unless the truss attached to 2 columns and you moved the column.

Anyhow, can you just grip edit the truss in plan and make it straight?

Hi There:

Another way for you to do this is to Align the Truss to the Gridline and lock it.

On the Plan View, click on <Modify>, then click <Align>.

Select the grid-line as "reference for alignment", then hover your mouse over the truss and  click the Tab key to make sure that you select the Truss "reference" along its entire length, then click on the padlock to lock this alignment.

Hope this helps.

Thank you both of you.

getting back on the track. Thanks.
