how to stop lines showing thick when printing to pdf X-Change

Hi, when printing from Revit to pdf using PDF X-Change the lines are shown real thick and when you zoom in smaller lines drawn say 5mm apart show just as one fat line, have tried adjusting print settings and taken resolution up to 2400 but still prints

You can manage the Line thickness in the Object Styles menu and Line Weight settings.

Thanks, I am up to speed with line types, weights etc. and don't have this issue with other drawing programes. I can plot without having to adjust line weights and shouldn't have to adjust to print to pdf.
