Here I have an A1 Sheet that I need divided into several 4 A3 sheets like I have outlined in Yellow
Can anyone tell me what the steps are in Revit.
I do no want to split them up on a different program I want to split them up in Revit if possible
Thanks
Aidan
Duplicate the view as dependent 4 times to create 4 dependent views, crop them so each one is a quarter of the overall view. Load an A3 titleblock, create 4 sheets with that titleblock, and place each quarter view on an A3 sheet.
But if you only need to split the PDF, then open the A1 PDF, print it to PDF, choose A3 paper size, 100% scale, tiled pages.
Yesterday, I was also faced with the dilemma of dividing a PDF file into separate pages because the storage on my device was insufficient for keeping the PDF file due to its size, and I was concerned. My friend recommended the Pcinfotools PDF Splitter Tool to aid me with this difficulty, and it has been quite helpful in separating the PDF document. This software splits my PDF file quickly and securely, without affecting the content and keeping the attachments the same. This tool also supports all versions of the Windows operating system and includes a free demo version. It allows you to store the PDF document locally, which works without the installation of Adobe Reader.
Storage in 2024 is so cheap, there should be zero reason to spend any time to make a PDF a tiny bit smaller.
How much space do you actually save by creating 4 small PDF vs. one large PDF? If you even save any, you may save $ 0.00000000000000000000000001 on storage expense.
