I have been trying to find the best way to show linked cloud MEP files in my Revit plans. I need to show for instance the sewage pipes that run through floors and travel up and down shafts. However, the only way to show these, that I know of, is to use underlay for the link. This changes all my graphic filters for the link and prints poorly. The contractors on site cannot see the data properly and all sides become frustrated and agitated. Using undelay also limits my need for underlay graphic definitions for different ends.
Anyone knows of a better way to control the appearance of the MEP links in my architecture views?
I'd be grateful if you have any suggestions...
I attach a sample of a small area in one of our plan views to demonstrate the problem.
one way is to double stack your views on the sheet. You have a view that shows only ARCH content and is as you typically would. Then you create a view that shows only the Plumbing content you want to show and the view range is from only just below the level. You then have complete freedom to adjust the pipes as you see fit without worrying how your settings affect the architecture.
