Hello guys, How to set browser organization for two and more levels?
I have the following structure of views in the project browser, I created project parameters and used them for browser organizations.
But I want to create something like this:
How to do that in Revit?
Is it possible or not?
If i understand you right you want to sort by levels with a result like this:
Try sorting by associated level:
you could add your own parameters above the associated level parameter like this
This would result in something like this:
Hopefully this helped
@benschilders thank you for your answer. I already did it, that you have shown.
Please pay attention to my screen:
Here I have the actual result:
"Level 1" and child "????", whereas "Floor Plan: Level 1" is the child of "???".
"Level 1" and child of "Level 2", whereas "Floor Plan: Roof" is the child of "Level 2".
My expected result is :
"Level 1" and the child is "Floor Plan: Level 1".
"Level 1" and child of "Level 2", whereas "Floor Plan: Roof" is the child of "Level 2".
I got "???" symbols because for "Floor Plan: Level 1" my created parameter is empty and I don`t want to set it.
My question is, is it possible to set the following structure of views?
It's confusing. If you can post the Project, maybe we can make sense of it and properly advise you.
Like @barthbradley said it would be easy to have a project from you so we can help you.
Also like @ToanDN mentioned nameing your parameter Level is kinda confusing.
The thing i want to say is that whenever you don't define your parameter revit is gonna put it under ???
To solve this you could define it as undefined or any other dummy name for example.
Setting all the views you don't wanna define under undefined, this way they wont apear as ???
