How to set active site in view

I have a situation where we are pre-constructing the foundation parts of our construction, then we will move the whole construction several meters, and then we will do the finishing works.

To support this within my model, I have made 2 sites, where site A is the location of where we are pre-constructing, and site B is after the moving when we do the finishing work.
So far so good, this works just fine in Revit.

Now my main issue now is: I cant seem to figure out how to set the active site per view for the drawings.

strangely enough I can link the model to another model, and there set the active site of the linked instance, but that would mean I need to make the drawings in a separate model from where I made the actual model itself.
Surely there must be a way to set the active site in a view?

What do you mean by "set the active site"?

In revit you can set different project sites within 1 model (manage -> project location -> site) so you can move your survey point around and have the same model in different positions where you set the survey point per site location. E.g. spot coordinate is then relative to your survey point, and therefor can be different per site. Perfect in the example i mentioned in my first post.

So it would make sense if I could somehow set this per view independently instead via a workaround by linking it multiple times in another model

Sites are model base, not view base.

I don't understand why the foundation elements need to be modeled in a different location first unless you want to make sure you have room on site to fit it all during pre-construction?

Regardless, since those elements are being made in one "phase" and then moved to another "phase" you could use Phases; pre-construction and construction. Build the foundation elements in pre-construction and then demolish them in the construction phase. Copy the existing foundation elements and put them in their new location on the site in the construction phase. Then you can assign different views to each phase. Carry on with the construction phase and do the rest.
