How to schedule soffits and fascia's?

Hi,

Is there anyway of being able to schedule soffit's and fascia's? - Whether this is part of the roofing schedule or completely separate?

I'm not sure I get the question. You generate a schedule for both.

Are you maybe wanting to report them as parts (via a Parts Schedule)?

Fascias, Soffits, Wall Sweeps are not shcedulable.  You need to Create Parts from them and schedule Parts.

Expand the Roofs category to expose Fascias, Soffits, and Gutters to create their own schedules.  Or do you want to combine them into one schedule?

Did you try to create Material Take-off schedules instead of Category schedules for soffits and fascias?  That would explain why they weren't available.

Hi I am trying to create a material takeoff schedule as I would like to input this into a Life Cycle Assessment for all building elements. Is there anyway of creating a material takeoff for the fascia? I have re drawn the soffit as a ceiling but am reluctant to redraw the fascia as a wall. Any suggestions or workarounds if not?

You can create parts from the fascias and soffits and create a material take-off schedule for parts. 

Or use category schedules in lieu of the material take-off schedule so that you can select the categories, then add calculated value parameters to extract the material quantity from the soffits and fascias dimensions.
