How to save custom layer mapping to a text file in Revit 2020

Hi,

I've duplicated the default layer mapping and used the AIA standard as the starting point, and used "layer modifiers" to customize the mapping (adding {phase status}).

I have access to the AIA standard text file, but not to any file with my custom settings information.
Does Revit save my custom file anywhere as plain text, Json, or XML file?
How can I save my custom settings as a plain text file for my archive?

In the image below, I want to create a plain text file for TEST1 and work on it separately in a text editor or Excel.

Thank you

Use Transfer Project Standards to transfer your "Test1" Export Setup between Projects.

FWIW: You can also save it in a Project Template (RTE).

Thank you, it solves the transfer issue and it's helpful.
Meanwhile, it looks like that Autodesk has encapsulated this in the software and there is no separate external file, if I've got it right!?

you haven't been able to save them out to a TXT file since 2014 or so. there are still txt files you can copy and edit if you want to (C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2020). But when you can Transfer Project Standards as @barthbradley suggests, its more trouble than its worth to edit the Txt files.

Yes, that's why I was not sure and I raised this question. I was thinking "save as txt" option was available before.

I checked the AIA text file and got the concept, but I was curious to see how edit/modify items are added to the text file.

Thank you

Did you got any answer about your question? How exactly is the structure of the txt for layers standards when using the layer modifiers?
