What 's wrong with the current rotation? Looks like you Rotated the View.   Besides this, you can use Rotate View On Sheet (90 degrees).  That's about it. What are you looking to achieve?

You can rotate the view without rotating the project. On any plan view, make sure the CROP REGION is visible. you can then select the crop region and then use the ROTATE command.

It is a little tricky how it works, though. You need to select a starting point of the rotation, then the direction you want the view to be oriented to next THEN select a line along the geometry you want rotated to that orientation. kinda opposite of how you would normally rotate geometry.

This only rotates that particular view and not the project. Very helpful for site plans and for plan views when the building is not oriented orthogonal to true north.

Are you talking about setting up Angle to True North?  Revit was a tool for this. Manage Tab=>Position=>Rotate True North.

...or you can just enter an Angle into the Angle to True North parameter of the Project Base Point. Six of one; half dozen of another.

actually this slanted view is oriented to the true North of the project but in this sheet since i only showed a portion of the section , it kinda looks odd and i wanted to make it parallel to the horizontal line. When i rotated the section in the plan view the whole project rotated .Turns out i had to activate the crop region while rotating in order not to affect the whole structure

You are welcome - took me a long time to figure that one out when I first started using Revit...

If you need to replicate the view orientation for multiple views, you should create a scope box and rotate it, then assign that scope box to multiple views.

I thought this feature might have been removed in 2022... but it is still there and working.  If your view isn't rotating, make sure copy isn't checked when using the rotate command to rotate the crop region.  If copy is checked, you'll make a new view that is rotated in the project browser, but the view in the drafting window will appear like nothing is happening.

This last comment is so important. i have rotated view on the sheet for many years, but now I'm using 2023 Revit and didn't know COPY had to be unchecked for the rotation to happen.  I wish I read the your comment first before spending so much time wondering why it wasn't rotating as it used to.  It worked perfectly.
