Has this function been removed? I am working in 2017 and having the issue that my top tread is not showing up.

I cannot find this option in the stair properties.

Thanks

Did you check the End with Riser option of the stair Run?

Not sure where this option is located to check.

I have dug through the properties of the assembled stair family and the run type of under the construction heading, but am not able to located the setting.

I've attached a few images.

1st is a section of the stair. as you can see the top tread is missing.

2nd is the properties box for the assembles stair

3rd is the properties for the run type construction.

Thanks

Found It!

you need to select the stair and click the "edit stairs" button to get the stair into sketch mode. With the stair selected in sketch mode, the options for "begin with riser" and "end with riser" are available in the properties.

Yup, glad you found it!

That's why I said "stair Run" and not "stair".  A stair can have several Runs and each of them an have a different End with Riser option.
