How to quantity the length of profile in ceiling category (Sweep model)

Hi!!

I need to quantity the total length of a model in place with Ceiling Category. The model was made with Sweep tool, but in the category Ceiling dont exist any parameter to length, just area and others.

I tried the railing tools, but... dont works in the ceiling plans...

Any one method? Thanks!

Material Schedule will get you there.

Maybe I 'm not following you. I understand that you have modeled an in-place component sweep that is pathed along the perimeter of the ceiling. I understand that the sweep is in the Ceiling category. So, when you create a Schedule for Ceilings that includes the Perimeter Parameter, the in-place sweep show a null value for Perimeter.  Is this about the size of it?

I'm suggesting that you create a Material Takeoff Schedule. The in-place sweep will report a Perimeter value in the MTO Schedule.

...if you don't have an actual ceiling that hosts your sweep, create one for it and turn it off in the Project Views -- and filter it out of the Schedules.

If the moulding runs the entire perimeter of the ceiling then you can simply schedule the main ceiling to get its perimeter value. No need to include the actual moulding in the schedule.
