Hello,
I'm a beginner Revit user and i'm using Revit mainly for drawing parametric furniture.
I'm using these drawings so that the people in our compeny who don't have CAD skills can still make a desant drawing for production by just filling out some parameters and placing dimensions.
In the attached file, in the sheet 0002 Productietekening, i would like to place an aligned dimension on the part but when i try to select the outlines of the part Revit also shows me the referance planes in bleu when i move my curser over them. In this part there ar a lot of referance planes i used to make the shape of the part parametric.
Can i make a setting someware to prevent Revit from snapping (making bleu) the referance planes and only snapping to the outlines of the part?
Maybe an answer also could be that i setup the part compleatly wrong and that i should draw these kind of parametric shapes compleetly diferant. Please show me the way.
Kind regards

The reference plains have a parameter that you can set to Strong, Weak, or Not a Reference, and more. Play with that to see if it gets you where you want to be.
