Hello,
I made a double-curved roof sheet with U-V division, which is for tiling, but under the tile, there are horizontal and vertical joists to be placed along the U-V division.
- In mass family, sweep model is unable to be made (surface division ubale to be picked), and
- if made an adaptive nest, there should be counteless adaptive points and nodes to follow the curved U-V,
- if make a pattern based two rod on 4-side, the quantity is not countable because it shall be one long continuous joust
- it will be too slow to make reference lines one by one following U-V grids, then create swwo in generic model
any direct solution? Thanks

Hello barthbradley
yes, but it seems not a continuous one piece of long rod, and not counted One piece in the quantity schedule.
Any other way to achieve that? ( similar like sweep in generic model), I had tried the below ways but restrictions:
- mass is unable to nest to gerneric family for sweep
- when load in project (for in-place sweep), the U-V grid unable to be picked for sweep path).
- Since this mass has complicated usage for many other parts, so prefer don't nest to project again then draw reference line then make sweep (because this mass has been created from other nested parts), and the project has too many nested and sub-nested already.
Many Thanks

That was @barthbradley ...
it is the 3rd post I run across with someone haunted by Toan

If the UV Grid is fixed, then make the Repeater Family have the same number Adaptive Points as the number of nodes.
For example, a 13-Adaptive Point Family repeated 13 times over UV grid:

OK perfect,
maybe I also try a pattern base combine the joist, roofing block and tile together....
many thanks barthbradley!!
