how to override walls color and pattern inside a LINK?

Hey

I have a rvt link inside my project which is greyed.

I want to emphasize the WALLS inside that rvt link so they will be display on normal colour. (black. not halftoned and not grey)
So i did this (short video) but it fails -excapt one wall (what the?!)

Can someone explain me where is my mistake?

@danezeq Hello, I just replicate what you did, but not too sure if this is you wanted it to be. Thanks

Thanks! your video helped me. you modified it under "cut" and not under "projection/surface" like me.

But i still cant get it to work beacuse i'm on MECHANICAL dicipline which halftone all the walls.

if i change diciplice to architectural, it works. i need to emphasize WALL only under MECHANICAL dicipline. how can it be done?

You're still under archtectural dicipline!

The tricky part is that you must be in a View with Architecture or Coordination discipline when you link the Architectural model to your file.  After linking and override the Revit link as shown in the screencast below, you can change the View back to Mechanical and the graphics of the link will stick.

If you are under Mechanical discipline when linking.  The link graphic will be grey no matter how you override it, at least that from my personal experience.

Edit:  new screencast
