How to make a 3D view non-transparant ?

To find out wether is conntecting an inside room of a building with the outside, I sometimes select the door and use Modify/Doors --> View --> Selection box. However, the view has become deteriorated lately, as most surfaces are transparant as if the building were a wireframe.

The help article ‘Visual Styles’ doesn’t help, neither does ‘Graphic Display Options’ (because everything is greyed out) and neither do the default view templates.

How can I convice Revit to show me a decent 3D view ?

Sometimes a 3d view will become "corrupted" for lack of a better term. Deleted the view from the Project Browser and recreate a new default 3d view. That should resolve the problem.

It worked. I found the corrpupted 3D view listed in the Project Browser and deleted it there. Now the 3D view created that way is OK, but it doesn’t appear in the Project Browser.
