How to keep Linked files when you moved or copy a Central Model

Hi guys,

Our team is divided in two different locations. We go on site every week and bring a copy of  various central files with us to update our models. Everytime we override these models all the linked files are not longer loaded, meaning that we have to go through every single link to Reload them from... Its not nice when you have to reload 150 links, spending a day of work every week.

We both location have the same file structure and also all the links are Relative Path types. Any idea about how can I resolve this issue?

you need to create a virtual machine (server) in your computer where you will install revit server that act as an (accelerator), and also you need to install Revit server (HOST) on the company server, where all the revit central files are. you need your IT/Network company team to look at this part.here is overview of revit serverhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGkxYRBr_98It is free of charge when you have the subscribtion.
Once you have it up and running. Before leaving the company to go on site, you open the virtual machine (local Server), changes will be pushed from HOST to ACCELERATOR to get the latest information from the main server where you central files are in to you virtual machine (server) in your computer.Then you could go on site, open your virtual machine (server) then minimize it. Once the virtual machine is on, you could open revit on your computer and connect to your virtual machine (local server) and create a local revit file in you local disk. you will work as LAN between you computer and the virtual server that is in you computer. you will make the changes local file on your computer and then synchronize it in your (server) virtual machine.
Once you are back to the company location and the connection is restored between (accelerator) and the (host), changes should will through. You could also use the VPN if you want to push the updates from home during the night time. 
I know it sounds complicated but once you have it up and running it will solve the time issue to reload all these files.
