How to include a column for 'comments & 'mark' in revision schedule?

I would like to create a revision schedule that includes the mark and comments under the revision cloud properties. I have seen the forum from a year ago that uses dynamo. Has there been any updates to this to avoid using dynamo? Seems like a simple task!

The Revision Schedule is usually placed into the Titleblock Family. Go to a Sheet, select the Titleblock, and choose Edit Family, which opens the Titleblock in the Family Editor. Then select the Revision Schedule, and highlight it in the Browser. Now you can edit Fields to add Mark and Comments. Save & Load into Project the Titleblock Family, and Overwrite.

Is there a way to have the revision schedule not part of the titleblock?

Not that I am aware of, as it is part of the Titleblock Family. A Schedule can't be copied from a Family(.rfa) into a Project (.rvt)

The revision schedule, even within the title block family, will not allow me to add parameters.

Mark and Comments are properties of individual Revision Clouds, not Revisions. Revision schedules are meant to report Revisions, not Revision Clouds (remember that you can add Revisions to Sheets without adding any Revision Clouds). It's confusing but they are not the same. What you want to do is impossible without some hacking (Dynamo as you mentioned it).
