hi I am new to revit and i have a question: how to get rid of the magenta/pink line in the middle of the beams? I try to find it in VG settings, but can not find it. I also tried Structural settings, and cannot find either. Could you please help me? Please see the attached image.

What version of Revit are you using?
What type of Beam is it?
Have you got a view template applied?
Have you got something selected or Are you editing something?
Can you share your model?
hi i am using Revit 2023 but I remember there was this magenta line in the middle of beams when i use 2022.
It is a normal timber beam I loaded from the Autodesl Revit library. I when into the family editor and the magenta line is in the family. I cannot get rid of it in the family editor either.
There is no view template . I am not editing anything. and there is nothing selected.
I just drew the beam from menu: Structure --- Beam.
I have just tested in Revit 2023 with a timber beam and there is no magenta line in the centre of my beam.
Strange
Is it possible to share your model?
hi thank you so much for your help! please see the attached family file, you can see the magenta line,
Ok there is a Foreground surface pattern applied which is magenta lines.
Set that to none and the magenta line will be gone.
