I am currently developing a schedule that requires a list of all the windows in the same rooms on a building, however everytime I try to set window 01 and 02 on the same room the schedule only lists it as <varies>, I need it to change accordingly from each room, example: Room 01 contains Window 01 and Window 05, Room 2 contains Window 04 and Window 07. As the image below, each window already has a type mark (J01, J02, etc.).
Hi,
If <varies> is showing up in your schedules instead of the expected information then the first thing I try is by Sorting/Grouping the parameter that you want to be shown.
So in your case I would do the following:
- Go to your Schedule properties
- Click on Sorting/Grouping
- On Sort by: Selected from the drop down menu: "Marca de Tipo" and then click ok
Both windows should appear on the schedule now.
Depending on how you want to organize your list you might have to have sort by Room name first and then by type mark
Hope that helps
Cheers
Thanks for the reply but thats not exactly what I need.
As shown in the picture above the same room, for example "1-fisioterapia aquática" has more than 1 window type in it, so it shows them in different lines, "J01" and "J02" duplicating the room "1-fisioterapia aquática".
The Perfect resolution would be for it to show only one "1-fisioterapia aquática" that has in the same cell the informations "J01, J02".
I could be wrong but I don't think what you are asking is possible.
A possible solution could be:
In Sorting/ Grouping -> Sort by: Room Name -> tick on 'Header' maybe tick on 'Blank Line' to separate each room.
On your schedule hide the Room name Column so that info doesn't repeat and the rest of the table would stay the same.
Revit only very recently began showing <baries instead of a blank field, which has been a longstanding wish. It has also been a long standing wish to have Revit list the values that it now represents with "baries". Perhaps in the future they can get that done too.
For now perhaps you can add a comment column and enter the values that you'd like to be shown instead, wherever <varies> occurs.

Have a look at this. It's probably the closest that Revit can get to what you want.
