How to force beams over corner columns?

Beams refuse to join over corner columns. They go over non corner columns just fine, but act as if corner columns are cutting them even though beams sit on top of them.

I can fix it manually with shape handles, but it gets tedious with a lot of corners.

Example file attached.

Disallow beam join and stretch them to meet.

What about removing that intelligence from the Column Family?  Recategorize the Family from Structural Column to Column so the Column won't break your beam joins when it comes in contact with them.

No issues here when beams are still are allowed joining.  I placed the structural columns on Level 1, drew the beam s on Level 2, Level, Z justification = Top.

Seems like @ToanDN was right, the issue is that columns end on, and beams rest on, the same level.

Adding another level just to place beams isn't really the best solution, but it is what it is.
