how to erase beam line in floor plan and how to separate between concrete beam and wall

hello

i need a little help

1.when i insert concrete beam there are lines in the floor plan surface.

how to clean that so i can render the interior without that lines ? i want another way not       just raise the floor on top of the concrete beam.

2. when i insert wall there is overlap between wall and concrete beam. so whe i make              section. beam section looks like overlap wit wall... so

is it right i put wall in the centre of beam or what should i do so i cam make good                section between wall and concrete beam.

Or should i use differente template between architectural template and structure template... in revit ?

thank you1.png2.jpg3.jpg5.jpg

Think of how things are put together. Think of where the top of beams should go. Maybe some inches below the level, the same thickness of the slab. If that is true, select your beams and adjust the elevation of top of beam in relation to the level. What I see in your model is that top of beams is at the same level of your level and top of floor.

Are you sure the top of beam is at the same level of top of floor? Usually not. Again, think of how things are put together in construction, instead of thinking of lines that need be erased. Anyway, why do say that you downloaded a beam from Bimobject? That does not make sense. A beam is not a loadable family. Maybe that is the reason why you cannot join your "beams" with the floor.

Sorry, my mistake. Beams are indeed loadable families. Then, the materials of your beam and floor might not be the same. Did you try this? Structure tab > Beam > Load family > "Structural Framing" folder> Concrete > Concrete-Rectangular Beam.rfa ?

If you don't have any families, it would be good to solve that issue first. Depending on your version of Revit, you might be able to find an installation file for families if you go to your Windows > Add or Remove Programs, and search for Content.. That might show you an option to install the package of families.
