How to Equalise different Dimension Lines?

Hello Everyone,  I am creating a 2D drawing and want to add couple of  linked parameters without using formulas in that case.

Where y should be equal to whatever comes out of x-2(50) which is in that case the shown 900 in the screenshot. Knowing that the 2 *50s are fixed with a locked dimension.

Whenever i parametrize the 900 and let the y equal  to it , the 900 will not be linked anymore with  the X and it shows me too much constrains are exsisting.

So is there Away doing a described.

I know i could use sth like that  y=x-(2*50) in the formula bar.

Thank you in Advance.

I'm not sure why you want to do this without formulas. I'd probably rethink how you're locking things.

Are those dashed lines reference planes or just dashed lines? If they're not reference planes, place reference planes in those spots, and lock the lines to them. Then, dimension those lines and set them to equal or apply a parameter, as shown below. Finally, rather than locking the 50 dimensions, use an equation to drive Y appropriately.

Are you talking about having a Parameter value in one Family match the Parameter value of another Family in the Project Environment?  Associating both Family's Parameters to the same Global Parameter will get you there.
