How to DWG files to import Revit ?

Have problem  importing dwg file to revit . It shows up in individual colours and unreadable. Even when I am choosing the file to import the preview window shows the same problem. Hope someone can help. I am new to revit and probably missed something simple. Thanks Bryce

Is seems that you have used a wrong unit while importing. You can choose the file unit in the import options. If you don't choose one it is automatically set on "AUTO DETECT", and this option could make mistakes.

Then if you are still seeing this kind of very thick line you should change scale. Find it in the left bottom corner of the window.

You can choose to import DWG in black and white.  And yes, make sure the Unit is correct.  If the DWG is not 1:1 then you will need to scale it accordingly after importing.
