How to deal with families in linked model which is the same as the host model

We have a few revit models which built from the same revit family library.

When I link them together and try to bind it. Revit automatically rename the same family

SAME_FAM to SAME_FAM1, SAME_FAM2

I know the logic to prevent the situation, same family name but different geometries.

But is there any way to get around this ?

Select all samefam1 and samefam2  and replace with samefam1.

Thanks for the reply.

But with that many families in each model.

This rename will happens all the time. It will be really a pain to manually rename them each time.

You can do it quickly with using schedule or maybe Dynamo. But if your workflow includes binding links on a regular basis then you have a bigger problem than replacing families.
