how to cut model in place, i want to cut my model in section, but it doesn't cut in section view
The gray object is the model in place.

Edit in-place and check the option "Enable Cutting in views"
Otherwise change its category. It needs to be of a category which is cuttable ...example: Generic Model, Specialty Equipment...etc Check the following link for a better undertanding of cuttable/non-cuttable categories...there is a Youtube link therein too Some families are not cut in section view in Revit

You are using Entourage Category which is not cuttable
Please read my previous reply. You need to use a category which is cuttable or that give access to the option Enable cutting in views...Edit the in place family and change category
