How to create stair with different riser height?

Hi Pal.

I started learn revit and I need to create stair for my educational project to calculate the volume percentage.
I have some problem to create some stairs with different riser height
the first riser 170mm and the rest  180mm (10 riser left)

I suggest you start the stair 10mm lower that the reference level. The start start point has a vertical offset for this.

ERRATA: Just saw your dimensions, the first is 180mm and the rest are 170mm. So you must do the opposite and add a positive vertical offset of 10mm and thicken the structural slab an additional 10mm under the step.

Were my screenshots enough?

 

1. Enter 180 for "Base Offset" Parameter

2. Edit Stairs and uncheck "Begin with Riser" and then enter "-180" (MINUS 180) for "Extend Below Tread Base".

thanks for the answer but i still did'nt get it
i tried to use offset but it causing a gap with the floor
maybe i miss some step 16. offset getting a gap.JPG

I just continue my project today.
because yesterday there was an problem with my pc.
i'll confirm it soon enough.

thanks for the answer but i still did'nt get it.
i  cant find base offfset but can un-check begin with riser 
i still lack some basic knowledge about stair in revit

Accepted solution

Press the Green Checkmark to Finish and Close Out of Edit Stair Mode, and then select the Stairs and look for "Base Offset" Parameter under the Stair's Instance Properties.   Enter 180.
